We love to pop into this cafe style restaurant when we our out delivering in the area. The quirkiness of the mismatched tables and the great British menu on offer makes it a real treat to pop in and enjoy a well earned bite to eat.

Hackney is a borough in the east end of London. The Hackney borough was formed in 1965 from 3 existing London boroughs of Hackney, Shoreditch and Stoke Newington.
The borough has an interesting history; the Roman road, Ermine Street, forms the western edge of the borough. Most of the rest of the land was covered with open oak and hazel woodlands, with marshland around the rivers and streams that crossed the area. The modern hackney is now a very ethnically diverse area with a population of around 90,000, which has contributed to some great restaurants to sample when in the capital.
